Conditions Treated
One to One treatments provide support where it is needed. The psycho-spiritual body is a whole. If we enter our healing journey at the level of the body, the mind and emotions are effected as well as the soul. If we touch the spiritual dimensions in our healing, these seeds then move into the physical plane in time. In truth, we must find a balance within and between all aspects of ourselves for complete health.
Conditions Treated and Supported
Pregnancy and Birth
Pregnancy is a very special time in a woman’s life. The body will stretch, retain water and make a huge amount of hormones over the pregnancy. It is crucial to support the body through these changes, to strengthen the body so it is ready to give birth.
Hormones & Menstruation
Pre Menstrual Syndrome and other Menstruation Issues are a function of the endocrine system. The endocrine system becomes disrupted through stress, pollution, poor diet or inherited predispositions. Regulation of the endocrine system can be a slow process, but a fruitful one.
Chronic Illness
Both Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia are long term conditions where the root cause is not outwardly evident. Because some symptoms of these conditions are the same, it is possible to be diagnosed with either or both, depending on how your symptoms present.
Addiction
In contemporary culture addiction is commonplace. Without realising it, most of the population is addicted to nicotine, sugar, caffeine, social media and/or television. To address addiction we must address the emotional and spiritual aspects underlying the behaviour as well as the physiological.
Injury Rehabilitation
When tissues and bones are damaged they need support to rebuild themselves. The body has an incredible capacity to heal, and with the input of good and healthy information to the system the body will generally do a good job. This good information can come in the form of reiki and energy healing, ultrasound and physiotherapy as well as awareness practices such as somatics.
Trauma
Trauma is not a fixed condition, in that the same event may be experienced as trauma for one individual and not for another. The way we respond to life is a combination of our own constitution, the patterns we have inherited and the possibilities of any given environment.
Grief and Bereavement
There are five key stages of grief. They may be experienced in differing lengths of time and in different orders by every person. These include denial, anger, bargaining, depression and acceptance.
Mental Health
Mental Health is an area of widespread concern. The conditions of modern life are such that we may respond to its stressors with anxiety, depression, mistrust or a sense of disconnection. While medication provides relief for some cases, many others require a holistic approach to begin healing.
Spiritual Healing
Spiritual counselling is important for individuals who walk a spiritual path or who intend to live life with a spiritual perspective. When a person is committed to their spiritual path or practice, it makes sense to understand and cope with life through this lens.
